Acceptable Use Policy
Rules for responsible use of site inquiries and any later authorized Valmera workspace.
Last updated: 08.31.2026 | Louisville, Kentucky
Back to home1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to interactions with the Valmera Labs website and, if later authorized through a separate agreement, access to a Valmera project or hosted workspace. Website visitors must submit legitimate business inquiries only. Additional customer agreements may impose more specific requirements on platform users, administrators, and uploaded content.
2. Lawful and respectful use
You must comply with applicable laws and respect the rights of others. Do not publish, upload, or transmit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, defamatory where prohibited by law, discriminatory harassment, or content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights. A business inquiry must not impersonate another person or organization.
3. Content and workspace responsibilities
Where task boards, comments, attachments, or account workspaces become available, the customer and its authorized users are responsible for the accuracy, authorization, and lawful handling of content they submit. Do not place information in a workspace if your organization lacks the right to process or share it. Do not upload unusually sensitive categories of information unless the service has been expressly approved and contractually configured for that purpose.
4. Security and system integrity
Do not attempt to bypass access controls, access accounts without permission, probe other customers’ information, distribute malicious code, interfere with availability, or exploit technical vulnerabilities. Security issues may be reported to the business contact listed below; do not publicly expose other users’ data while review.
5. Spam and automated misuse
Do not use inquiry forms or any future messaging features for mass unsolicited advertising, credential harvesting, chain messages, phishing, malicious links, or abusive automated submissions. Do not place unreasonably high load on the site or perform bulk extraction without authorization.
6. Enforcement
Where legally permitted, Valmera Labs may investigate suspected misuse, request removal of content, suspend an abusive inquiry channel or authorized account, or cooperate with lawful orders. Any future platform suspension and appeal process should be governed by the applicable customer agreement. Enforcement decisions are based on context and the seriousness of the conduct.
7. Customer obligations and reporting
Organizations evaluating a workspace should appoint appropriate administrators and communicate expected behavior to authorized users. If you become aware of a suspected security event, unauthorized disclosure, or misuse related to Valmera, promptly provide a description using the contact details below. Do not include unnecessary secrets in an initial report.
8. Policy updates
This policy may be updated as site functions, uploaded-content capabilities, or customer workspace services change. The presence of future-workspace rules in this policy is not a representation that all referenced features have already launched.
9. Content responsibility and lawful authority
Any individual submitting project information must be entitled to share it and must not use the site to transmit material that infringes intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other legally protected rights. Customers who use any separately contracted workspace are responsible for having a valid basis to upload or process information relating to their staff, clients, contractors, or other persons. Valmera Labs does not provide legal advice or authorize the use of software in unlawful processing activities.
10. Prohibited security activities
Do not attempt to bypass access controls, obtain another user’s information, probe infrastructure without written authorization, distribute harmful code, launch denial-of-service activity, automate excessive requests, or intercept traffic. Do not imitate company staff, obtain credentials by deception, or attempt to interfere with payment, security, consent, or request-submission mechanisms. Authorized vulnerability reporting should include enough information to investigate and should avoid exposing or modifying real user information.
11. Requests and submissions
Messages submitted through the website must be relevant to lawful business inquiries. Do not transmit unsolicited advertising, bulk promotions, malicious links, misleading company information, impersonation, threats, harassment, or content intended to bypass spam controls. The contact form is for project requests and product-related questions, not an unrestricted file hosting or messaging channel. Repeated abusive inquiries may be blocked or referred to appropriate authorities when justified.
12. Workspace conduct if separately enabled
Where a customer has access to a separately contracted Valmera workspace, that customer should use accounts only for authorized personnel, maintain appropriate access controls, and define its own rules for task names, comments, attachments, retention, and approvals. The customer is responsible for the legality and accuracy of its content and instructions. The existence of this section does not represent a guarantee that a hosted account service, attachment module, or particular permission control is presently offered.
13. Fair use and service integrity
Users must avoid activity that creates unreasonable load or interferes with the rights and access of others. Scripts or bulk operations require authorization when they could affect platform stability, security, or another customer. Valmera Labs may use proportionate technical controls to protect its website and contracted services and may investigate reports of abuse consistent with applicable law and contractual obligations.
14. Reporting and corrective steps
If you discover misuse, security concerns, or accidentally submitted confidential information, contact us promptly with the relevant context and without including unnecessary sensitive records. A report should identify the affected page or feature, what happened, and a safe way to reply. We may request additional details to assess risk, preserve evidence where necessary, take reasonable remediation steps, or cooperate with lawful investigations.
15. Enforcement and restoration
Where permitted by law and applicable agreement, we may decline an inquiry, remove prohibited content from services under our control, limit access, suspend suspicious activity, or terminate abusive use. Any applicable notice, appeal, data retrieval, and restoration rights are governed by law and the contract for the affected service. We will not represent suspension powers over third-party systems that we do not operate.
16. Changes and relationship with other terms
We may revise this policy as website functionality or contracted services evolve. Additional restrictions may be included in a specific written service agreement where appropriate. The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy should be read alongside this Acceptable Use Policy. Nothing in this document is intended to override obligations imposed by mandatory applicable law.
